Zhumin XU vient de Shanghai Chine. Elle est Post-doctorant.e au sein du programme ERC « Urban revolution and the political » depuis août 2019. Elle s’intéresse à la restructuration de la gouvernance métropolitaine.
Zhumin Xu is currently an early career researcher at LATTS. Before moving to Paris, Xu held a fellowship in the Department of Geography at the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include housing requisition involving public participation, inner-city redevelopment and local governance, public housing, and mega-projects under globalization. Xu holds a PhD degree in Urban Studies from University of New Orleans, a Masters degree from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature from Fudan University. Her dissertation topic focused on urban governance and community participation in residential relocations and housing requisition in globalizing Shanghai.
