Launch of the seminar "Writing a thesis at LATTS in partnership" (Monday, January 25, 2021, 4:00-6:00 p.m.)

The first session of this new seminar will be devoted to a general presentation of the "issues" surrounding partnership theses at LATTS. After setting out some background information (changes in this type of funding compared to other more "traditional" forms, such as doctoral grants, thesis duration, etc.), we will outline the structure of a Cifre thesis, which is one of the most common forms of funding for partnership theses. What is the overall economics? How much does a Cifre thesis cost an employer (particularly in view of the various forms of assistance provided)? What contractual support mechanisms are in place (research agreement, etc.)? What other forms of partnership exist, apart from Cifre, to finance theses? How do they differ? In any case, as a doctoral student, researcher, or member of the administrative team, what points should you be particularly vigilant about when such an opportunity arises?
Speaker: Manon Lassaigne, Research and Development Department, UGE.
Moderator: François-Mathieu Poupeau (LATTS)
