As part of the 14th International Weather and Climate Forum, Météo et Climat, an association founded under the name Société météorologique de France and chaired by Jean Jouzel
, is organizing a symposium on the theme of "Adapting infrastructure and networks to climate change
" on Friday, March 24, 2017,
at Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris 5th arrondissement).
The program,
led by Anne Girault, Executive Director of the Paris Climate Agency,
will promote discussion and reflection on the adaptation of infrastructure and networks to climate change and highlight the economic and financial challenges involved.
"Infrastructure and climate stress – How will climate change impact infrastructure?
How can we prepare for this and integrate this issue into decision-making processes, economic models, and training?"
will speak on the topic of
"General risks
" during Session 1, "Vulnerability of infrastructure and networks: impacts and interactions."
