PMMU Seminar – Contemporary Changes in the Electricity Sector

The next session of the PMMU research group’s seminar will take place on Friday 23 October 2026, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm, in room B235 of the Bienvenüe building. It will focus on transformations in the electricity sector, featuring presentations comparing the North and South.

The speakers

  • Tomy Goulding (PhD student, Gustave Eiffel University, LATTS) – Electrification and socio-technical imaginaries: the rise of distributed solar PV in the Dakar region (Senegal)
  • Noé Kabouche (postdoctoral researcher, École normale supérieure, CERES) – Perceptions and values in the energy transition and the public electricity sector in France
