Flux magazine is calling for articles for a special issue:
New perspectives on off-grid technologies in the history of urban services (18th-20th centuries).

Article proposals of up to 4,000 characters may be submitted in French or English, accompanied by a brief CV including full contact details and institutional affiliation, and should be sent to the following addresses: bbothere@gmail.com, coutard@enpc.fr, jt03@andrew.cmu.edu
before October 1, 2021.
The full article is expected by February 1, 2022.
Based on the abstracts pre-approved by the editorial board of Flux, authors will have until February 1, 2022, to submit the full version of their article. This must comply with the journal's standards (see note to authors), namely a text of no more than 50,000 characters (including spaces), an abstract of 1,000 to 1,500 characters in French and English, and a biographical note of approximately 600 characters.
