The internationalization of cities is undergoing renewed intensity and forms in the context of contemporary globalization and its economic, cultural, and ecological challenges. Since 2016, the Techniques, Territories and Societies Laboratory (LATTS) and the Urban Planning, Construction and Architecture Plan (PUCA) have been conducting a program focusing on various aspects of this issue by examining urban situations in both the North and the South.
This conference will take place on October 15 and 16, 2018. It offers elected officials, researchers, and practitioners a forward-looking and action-oriented reflection on the challenges, processes, and strategies of the internationalization of urban economies, societies, and institutions.
