Bio

A graduate of the École normale supérieure (Ulm) and holder of a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Development from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, I joined LATTS in 2022 to undertake a PhD supervised by Yoan Miot (LATTS – Gustave-Eiffel University) and Valérie Sala Pala (TRIANGLE – Jean-Monnet University).

This is a thesis in urban planning and development, funded through a specific doctoral contract for École normale supérieure students and provisionally titled: “Diversifying the housing supply within the context of urban regeneration: market formation and population transformation in large-scale social housing estates”.

I am interested in the full range of changes to the housing supply in large social housing estates, from their construction to the urban regeneration policies implemented there since the early 2000s. This research focuses on two areas: the south-eastern districts of Saint-Étienne and the Chantereine district in Alfortville.

I am part of the “Social Housing Sales in Île-de-France” research team coordinated by Matthieu Gimat, as part of the Social Housing Sales research programme funded by the USH, the PUCA and other partners.

September 2022 – present: PhD, funded under a specific École Normale Supérieure doctoral contract.

2017–2022: Student at the École normale supérieure (Department of Geography and Territories).

2018–2021: Master’s in Urban Planning and Development, University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Ongoing research
