Reconciling water and land management
Editions Johanet, 2016, 391 p.

In line with the Water Framework Directive, the "Water and Territories" research program aims to link knowledge about how hydrosystems work with knowledge about territories in order to inform current and future policies. Within this framework, the Ministry of Sustainable Development, the CNRS, and IRSTEA supported nineteen research projects between 2007 and 2015, covering a wide range of topics from the technical management of water-related risks and opportunities to issues of governance and stakeholder relations. This book brings together summaries and results of this research, offers the perspectives of operational stakeholders on the topics covered, and provides thematic fact sheets on current issues. It is intended for researchers and students, as well as water and land stakeholders.
