LATTS is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, we wish to foster an open discussion on some of the major scientific and socio-political issues at the heart of the laboratory’s work, and on the prospects for the next (forty?!) years.
To this end, we are jointly organising two days of informal discussion on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November at the Académie du Climat, focusing on the digital and ecological transitions in question (Thursday afternoon), science in society (Friday morning) and engagement (Friday afternoon).
On the agenda for these days: guest lectures, round-table discussions, an exhibition, film screenings followed by debates, and more informal opportunities for discussion over lunch and in the late afternoon. The programme for these days, which is currently being finalised and regularly updated, will soon be available.
The LATTS community would be delighted to welcome you to these events.
Daniel Florentin and Ludovic Halbert,
on behalf of all the staff at LATTS
